Interdisciplinar Project: Knowing Paralimpics

This proposal “Getting to know the Paralympic Games” consists of an interdisciplinary project. It will be carried out during the first term of the academic year and will take place at IES María Casares, a public school located in Oleiros, in the metropolitan area of A Coruña, for students in the third year of Compulsory Secondary Education. Its main purpose is, through physical activity and sport, to raise awareness among students on aspects of attention to diversity, promoting civic and ethical principles and values, such as inclusion, acceptance and normalisation, as well as delving into historical content such as the history of the Paralympics.
